WHEN  a mighty world class horseman as Aidan O'Brien says he has a great horse, that horse will indeed be just that. No messing.

There can never be a certainty in any horserace, we saw what happened yesterday in the Oaks to THE FUGUE suffering interference that so nearly brought her down costing her this race. This sort of thing should not be happening. The British bloodhorse illiterate regulation government are to blame for this because they have been letting the standards fall, and fall for so long in the bloodhorse literacy zone, the knock on effect has made this sport far more dangerous than it need ever be,  for everyone, perhaps most dangerously effecting the horses most of all.

BROADCASTING CHANGES BLOWING IN THE WIND
http://www.iheartmusicvideos.com/Q5vLUMusicjbALHA/Catch-The-Wind-Donovan.html

This is the last time that the BBC will be bringing us the Derby meeting live from Epsom, in 2013  the C4 Horseracing Team will be taking over.

THE  WILD WIND

Where do you come from wind ...?

What makes you so mad ....?

You've smashed the fence down

You've torn the trees out

Slates from the roof come crashing down

Play havoc on the motorways huge lorries upturned

Who are you wind ... what makes you so mad...?

The whole house is in darkness and the cold seeps

 through to everything ... chilled

One candle burning, one torch to hand

Beauty is curled in the rocking chair sleeping

What are these things that non of us know ...

How can you tell us wind which way you'll go ....?

What you are doing and why is it so ...?

You even are whistling as you crash on your way

Whirling and twirling for all of the day

When you've blown yourself out wind

Where do you go ....? You shudder and quiver

still sometimes I hear. Are you just pondering

pondering ... which way to blow...?

Or steadying steadying too and fro'

The tide you have whipped into a frenzy so

The huge waves are thrashing and thundering in

roaring and foaming again and again

Please can you tell me ....? Please can you say ...?

What is making you go loony for most of this day ...?

Is the cold from the artic and the heat from the desert

Clashing and bashing their difference sublime

What causes you to react in this way ....?

Wind oh wind can you sort it all out ...?

Whispering wind comes answering me ...

On a soft spring morning at break of day

When all of the meadows are smelling of hay

Hazy and lazy the sun comes peeping

Whispering wind comes answering me ...

TRUE BLOODHORSE LITERACY IN ACTION.
Here we could see Hayley at her brilliant best,  riding out a finish, pulling her whip through from her left hand to her right hand taking care not to interfere with Grumeti  upsides her on her left hand side using her whip  flair not to hit her horse but showing the art of  how to swing  a whip, a tactic to get her urgent hurry up message across to Life And Soul in balance with stride to just hold on from Grumeti partner Ryan Moore
A whip tactic used not to hit and punish a horse, but to asking a horse to give just that little bit more. Frankie Dettori can be seen to use a tactic as this. This is a fine art, care needs to be taken however that whilst using a tactic as this, it does not interfere with any other runner. Hayley had no runner on her right as she was racing up the rail. If Hayley had left her whip in her left hand and used it the same there, she would have interfered with  Grumeti partner Ryan Moore.

BORN TO SEA
UKPA)–4 hours ago

JOHN OXX  is anticipating a much better show from BORN TO SEA in the Abu Dhabi Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh today after his disappointing display in the Newmarket version at the beginning of the month.

The half-brother to Sea The Stars will be wearing headgear after pulling very hard in the early stages and coming home a well-beaten 12th on the Rowley Mile.

"He's been working away since Newmarket and going nicely. The race will have done him good, it will hopefully have knocked all the freshness out of him. He was ever so keen and he'd lost his chance after two furlongs," said the Currabeg handler.
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/article/ALeqM5jdDt6TPbKMnl3xi4NczmqiEX5fbw?docId=N0329851337949983523A

BORN TO  SEA keen to get on with it when jumping from stalls as before in British 2000 Guineas,  with a different rider this time  P J SMULLEN and wearing a hood to help him to concentrate on the job in hand, he gradually stopped fighting his rider to settle at the back of the field,  leaving it late,  he started to  weave  his way through the field showing an excellent turn of foot to finish fifth two and a half lengths adrift of winner POWER. Christopher Tsui his owner and John Oxx Team will be thrilled with that. This is only BORN TO SEA'S  fourth run, second as a three year old.

It is interesting to note that FRANKEL as a three year old last year had this very same problem, unable to settle. The number one need to be able to settle, vital. There are two ways to handle this. On the one hand TOM QUEALLY did not fight FRANKEL in the early stages of his races but allowed him to run. On the other hand here with BORN TO SEA in his two races as a three year old the attempt has been made to hold him up until he settles. BORN TO SEA is entered to run in the British Derby, but will he be asked to take up that engagement?

PARISH HALL
JIM BOLGER  has been forced to rule PARISH HALL out of the Abu Dhabi Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh due to a leg infection.

Due to the close proximity of the Irish Guineas to the Investec Derby next Saturday, Bolger has also had to give up on the idea that his colt will turn up at Epsom.
PARISH HALL didn't run due to hind leg infection

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT
RACING POST (24.05.2012) REPORTS AS FOLLOWS
GRAHAM GREEN
"FITZSIMONS GIVES UP PURSUIT OF LEGAL COSTS .....
"PAUL FITZSIMONS, who last December emerged from the biggest corruption investigation in the history of British racing without a stain on his character, has been forced to admit defeat in his bid to recover a proportion of the legal costs of close to £90,000 he incurred in clearing his name.

The BHA slammed the door to any further discussion of the issue when informing the jockey-turned-trainer he will not receive a penny after the disciplinary panel decided he was not unfairly treated. There is no appeal against the ruling .....

"The statement added: Fitzsimons relies essentially on the fact that he always gave a clear and consistent account of his ride of' IT'S A MANS WORLD and that the evidence against him did not change from the outset of the investigation. But it falls way short of establishing unfair treatment. The panel felt he had a serious case to answer on the basis of the material put before it by the BHA. Although the panel came to a different conclusion about Fitzsimons' ride than the BHA advocate, the BHA's contentions were neither improper nor based on flimsy grounds."

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL COMMENT  -  CALLING INTO QUESTION
THIS BHA QUOTE

"THE  BHA's CONTENTIONS  WERE NEITHER IMPROPER NOR BASED ON
FLIMSY GROUNDS ... "

THIS IS actually a case of improper BHA justice/judgement based upon flimsy grounds, due to the fact that the BHA disciplinary panel are all Bloodhorse Illiterate so this immediately places all the issues in contention out of context.

The BHA are punishing people for achieving True Professional Bloodhorse Literacy in their own right, both In the Saddle and Out of the Saddle, both in Theory and in Practice. For this reason the BHA's working practices are redundant, estranged, not fit for purpose. How much damage money do the BHA owe Paul Fitzsimons? And all the others who have been prosecuted unjustly same?
