NICK LUCK INTERVIEWS PAUL ROY BRITISH HORSERACING AUTHORITY CHAIRMAN (BHA) AT ASCOT ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 15th 2011  ON THE VERY FIRST BRITISH CHAMPIONS DAY
http://steeplechasing.wordpress.com/2011/10/15/a-recording-of-paul-roys-interview-with-nick-luck-on-british-champions-day/

J MARGARET CLARKE TURFCALL 'BLOODHORSE LITERACY' How much longer are the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) going to take to put their own house in order at 75 High Holborn in London ? To recognise what bloodhorse literacy really means ... Their licencing department , their disclipinary department, their regulation department ... all are geared up wrong at present. Lyn Williams needs to be the first one to move out and all the rest like him.
When is Paul Roy going to take his first step on his journey into understanding what bloodhorse literacy really means? To start to take on board, to recognise that there is indeed such a key issue as is 'Bloodhorse Literacy' Or will his first step be to pack his bags and get out?

GUEST STAR PAUL STEWART has a runner this afternoon in the 2.30 Handicap Chase at Cheltenham trained by Paul Nicholls  GHIZAO  7 11-2 partner RUBY WALSH an interesting runner ….. He will have the chance today to gain some more racing experience over the big fences …. how will he get on?
PAUL had broken his back after being caught in a freak avalanche while snowboarding in the Alps, and as his father researched the possible treatments available in this country and elsewhere, he became convinced that Britain is lagging behind.
GHIZAO
LETS TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT PAUL'S GHIZAO  7 11-2
HOW DID THE 2.30 HANDICAP CHASE AT CHELTENHAM ACTUALLY PAN OUT TO BE?

JOHN (Greatest Jockey) FRANCOME(Bloodhorse Literate)
"A lifetimes experience to date, shared with the greatest professional horsemen and the greatest racehorses.” A shining light on the bloodhorse literacy front that so desperately needs to be recognised properly by the powers that be world wide.

Warm welcome for RP Greyhound TV (09.12.2011)
JIM CREMIN “ THE launch this evening of the Racing Post Greyhound TV on Channel 231 on Sky ‘s digital platform (402 Freesat) yesterday (Thursday) received a widespread welcome from influential figures in greyhound circles. Tonight kicks off with an all-open card featuring the semi-finals of the Essex Vase at Romford, plus a 13- race card at Sunderland, while tomorrow is the turn of Crayford-which will feature the heats of the new Kent National Hurdle – and Newcastle.
“Lord Lipsey, the former chairman of the former BGRB and a keen supporter of greyhounds, and greyhound welfare, said “This is a great breakthrough . I understand some tracks will be concerned that it hits attendancies, but it will boost the yield of the voluntary  levy the bookmakers pay on greyhound racing . TV pundit and betting expert John McCririck , a long-time fan of greyhound racing and a regular at Derby finals over the years, said “This is terrific , especially with people like Errol (Blyth) and Darrell  (Williams) involved. Punters will lap this up, given Channel 231 comes free. I think it will be a great success, develop over the months ahead and re-energise enthusiasm to come racing .”
“Tanya Stevenson  of C4 Racing and an enthusiastic greyhound owner:”Other than the superb Sky greyhound service, armchair greyhound racing fans are starved of action, but I hear dogs barking, and the hare’s running  for Racing Post Greyhound TV.

“OVERTURN shows the attributes to partly fill DENMAN void. With the admirable DENMAN retired, a sudden vacancy has arisen at the top of the game .....
PRICEWISE the Punters Champion has this to say about the 2.30 Handicap Chase from Cheltenham
THESE big – field handicaps around Cheltenham are as much about luck and rhythm as weights and ability and anything can happen in the Spinal Research The Atlantic 4 Gold Cup (2.30) Three of the last five winners have started at 16-1 or bigger and the fact the bookies are betting 7-1 the field tells us how open it is. ……
