"73 per sent of trainers polled by the Post in Britain say they're struggling to make it pay.

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment
Trainers are in "No Mans Land" they are left to put up and shut up with the Bloodhorse Illiterate British Horseracing Government, and the Bloodhorse Illiterate British Political Government. Trainers are used and abused by both these pathetic parties, who are not fit for purpose.

"Owners' frustration over levy comes to the fore

Rachel Hood Racing Post Friday June 7th

"Racing at a turning point as a New Dawn beckons' she writes that progress "has been aggravatingly slow for British racehorse owners".

On the topic of the levy she continues: "It is disappointing that a meeting held with Hugh Robertson, Minister for Sport and Tourism, last autumn has, to my mind, so far failed to put any real vitality into the process for levy replacement and we would urge the minister to get things moving within this crucial area."

Scoop6 Races for June 8th 2013

Tote have just released the Scoop6 races for this Saturday, 8th June. They are: -
Race 1 : 2:05 Haydock
Race 2 : 2:20 Newmarket
Race 3 : 2:40 Haydock
Race 4 : 2:55 Newmarket
Race 5 : 3:20 Chester
Race 6 : 3:30 Newmarket

There was no winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday. This is great news for you as the Win fund will start off this Saturday with £431,725 already in the pot and the Bonus fund starts at £526,347. Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed.

Therefore a single winner of the Win and Bonus Funds could scoop around £1.2 MILLION!

Tomorrow’s Scoop6 features action from Chester, Haydock and Newmarket with five races broadcast live on Channel 4. The final leg sees a field of eleven face the starter for the John Sunley Memorial Levy Board Handicap at Newmarket where No Heretic will be well fancied to follow up his victory on the Rowley Mile last month.

totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said “Despite featuring two single-figure fields, we’re confident this weekend’s £1.25 million Scoop6 will be no cakewalk. There are six competitive contests for punters to sink their teeth into and we expect brisk business on tomorrow’s bet.”
Beat the rush and open an account with Totepool bookmakers, the home of the Scoop6, now. They currently have a great promotion running: – Sign up for a free Totepool betting account, using the links on this page, and get a £10 Free Bet! Full details of this offer can be found on the Totepool site.

Good luck everyone. Remember to return to Scoop6.co.uk on Saturday for live updates as the Scoop6 runs.
