HAPPY
JACK

“IN-FORM IRISH ACE FAVOURITE FOR  “FLAT GRAND NATIONAL”.

It would be great if Richard Hughes can win this, he has a good chance of making this his first Cesarewitch winner... Lets hope QUICK JACK is feeling happy today. Finished 3rd a good effort.

A IS FOR AETNA …  “Aetna would be a popular winner at York  for local trainer  Mick Easterby and the four-year-old will go off favourite for the Coral Sprint Trophy, following some decent recent efforts on the Knavesmire and at HQ at 3.30.

PAUSE FOR THOUGHT

CH4 Nick Luck  takes us to Ireland to meet up with the boys at

COOLMORE 2014
COUNTY TIPPERARY IRELAND

A mighty historic living legend
Part Two

CH4 Nick Luck brings us a wonderful guided tour around Coolmore, the horses, the people who work with each horse, every day, within an environment of peace and calm, of timeless beauty, of carefully tended countryside. Railed paddock’s, hedged walkways, stables and blocks of stables.

Nick shows us around Coolmore’s Private Gallery. There is a life size “Saddlers Wells” profiled by a taxidermist. A fabulous historic reminder bringing to life “ Coolmore Heroes,” the oldest yet the latest. We hear that Australia was retired yesterday due to a hoof injury, we meet with Jeff Henderson the farrier who is attending to the healing of Australia’s hoof every day. We meet up with Noel Stapleton who introduces us to Galileo. We meet up with M.V Magnier. Kevin Buckley, David O’Louchlin and more. Generations of horsemen, generations of 6 Derby winners. Historic Videos of races run and won.

Historic photographs. Bringing to life memories of so many truly great racehorses and the horsemen who worked with them every day, a fabulous work of art achievement.
