WIN: Shalaa (IRE) 3 9-1 partner Frankie Dettori Team (John) Gosden for Al Shaqab Racing 7-4f. Shalaa looked gorgeous as he walked around the paddock in the prelims before the 3.05. He was in a way swanking, he knows he is the real deal, and he knows that Frankie is the real deal as well. He looked happy and interested in all going on around him, after 370 day off the track through injury.
John Gosden was born into a "bloodhorse literate family"
and there are not many families like that. More’s
the pity.
There is a very distinct difference between a "bloodhorse
literate" family, and a "bloodhorse illiterate family."
To mention
a few "bloodhorse literate families" here for
quick reference: Peter Scudamore, Lester Piggott,
Frankie Dettori, William Buick, Clare Balding,
Ted, Katie and Ruby Walsh, William and Jack Petts. Aidan and Annemaria O'Brien.

JMC: It is not easy to nurse a racehorse in training back from injury.
These are large animals who need gentle bloodhorse literate handling, minding at all
times, especially when injured. A wrong move when working around them could
trigger further painful disaster.

always has to be a truly transparent top wage structure working upsides the
minimum, or living wage. The ladder
structure in between these two wages are key due to the fact that every living working person
needs to be aware of exactly what the total number of wage structures there are
between the minimum, or living wage and the top wage. Whoever denies a working person this right is committing a "Corrupt Act" .
