JMC: What clues can we glean from the Historic
St Leger website about bloodhorse literacy or bloodhorse illiteracy?
Licensed
British trainer David Elsworth asked at Doncaster this week what changes he thought
were needed to the Rules of British or Global Horseracing.
His reply “What
would I be wanting to change them for?” His answer short, being of no interest
to him: Which suggests that he is bloodhorse illiterate himself: This fact alone means that The British government to include the British horse racing government's licensing department responsible for granting licenses does not stipulate that only the bloodhorse literate need apply.
Doncaster racecourse
hosts this race every year same, it is the fifth Group 1 and last British Classic to be run each year. The Historic St Leger Website lists all the winning horses, their jockeys, trainers and their owners going back to 1776:
