GUEST STAR
Bloodhorse Literate
David Simcock  licensed racehorse trainer based in Newmarket. David has nine runners challenging today. Two at Newmarket in the 3.45  Handicap over 1m.  VAINGLORY  (USA)   8  9-5  partner LAURA PIKE (5)  And  MABAIT 6 9-8 partner ALICE HAYNES (7)

DAVID SIMCOCK’s career has really gathered pace in the last couple of years and he will start the 2012 season as one of British racing’s most upwardly mobile trainers.
Simcock, 39, had his best season to date in 2011 with total prizemoney at home and abroad totalling over £1million. Dream Ahead proved to be a real flag-bearer for the Trillium Place team securing the honour of leading sprinter in Europe. He recorded Group 1 wins in Europe’s premier sprint, the July Cup, as well as the Haydock Sprint Cup and when beating Goldikova in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Arc Day.

These, combined with his two Group 1s successes as a juvenile in the Prix Morny and Middle Park Stakes, established Dream Ahead as one of the best sprinters in Britain for many years. Dream Ahead’s exploits helped David break into the top 15 in the British Flat Trainers Championship for the first time.

VIEWS FROM THE BLOODHORSE ILLITERATE
Unable to act in the saddle or out of the saddle. Unable to act in theory or in practice.
Bloodhorse Illiteracy severly limits British political and horseracing government resulting in a severe, cruel and dangerous rollercoaster effecting the every day lives of all those who work every day at the dangerous sharp end of British horseracing, without whom there would be no horseracing.

BALLET TRAINING  HOW WOULD PAUL BITTAR, JAMIE STIER, VETERINARY TIM MORRIS AND PAUL ROY GET ON IN THIS BALLET TRAINING? THIS IS HOW WAY OUT OF TUNE THEY ALL ARE IN REGULATING THE BLOODHORSE LITERATE ZONE IN
BRITISH HORSERACING..

These 4 men are completely inadiquate in the Bloodhorse Literacy Zone. Not fit for purpose.
By all means place them in any other horseracing zone, but not the Bloodhorse Literate Zone .  British Horseracing cannot be allowed to continue on without the right people in the Bloodhorse Literacy Zone. The present set up are crippling British horseracing and all the people who go out every day and work at the dangerous sharp end  of this sport.

J Margaret Clarke Turfcall Comment
JMC's father was a dentist, a very good dentist. He invented the first dentist's chair so as dentists' didn't have to stand up all day whilst they were working.  He played a lot of golf at Goodwood. His birthday party  was spent at  Glorious Goodwood every year. He loved going racing. But like 95 percent of people he had no idea of how much skill and work went into the training of racehorses, how they needed to be prepared etc.  But over the years he began to realise that there was far far more to this than he had first thought.  He played golf with Gordon Smyth sometimes, when he trained at Arundel Castle. Before he moved to Lewis and won the Derby  in 1966 with Charlottown  partner Scobie Breasley trainer Gordon Smyth for Lady Zia Wernher. Dentists these days have a chair that looks like a saddle.
