There are a lot of people who tell you they can ride. But whether they can ride or not can only be reflected through the horse.
The horses and the people who work with them every day come first not last.

The
Draw: Worked out in action in practice, split the field in two, one bunch
racing on the far side rail, and the other bunch racing on the near side stands
rail. Kieren Fallon racing on the far side rail switched late on.
IN EQUUS CONTEXT
Taken in context here, and applied to Saturday’s 2,000 Guineas (colts)
we saw the winner Night of Thunder partner Kieren Fallon racing on the far side
rail for the early part of this race. It was not until later on
that Night of Thunder drifted across the middle of the track towards the bunch
of colts racing on the stands side rail.
Kieren
said afterwards that Night Of Thunder remembering where he had first come out
onto the racetrack, and
had
it in his mind to get back there as soon as he possibly could, and in his haste
to go home Night Of Thunder won this race. It would be interesting to know who
rides Night of Thunder out every day at home.
It is interesting to notice also how quickly Clive Brittain’s
little dancing gig gesture first performed when one of his horses won, Clive
finding himself in the winner’s enclosure did his little dancing gig gesture to
show his winner how pleased he was with him, Clive believed his winner would
understand his dancing gestures. In the media now Clive’s little dancing gig
has been taken out of context.
