A Lockinge poser
With Frankel and
Excelebration tucked away in the breeding sheds, racing craves a new star from
the older generation. From what we have seen so far, Aidan O'Brien's four-year-old Deflaration Of War could fit the bill, but will he have his work cut out today? Preview, p2-3

CH4 NEW THREE PART FOCUS:
FRANKIE DETTORI (SCAPEGOAT) TALKS TO CLARE BALDING
Part 1 Confessional
Frankie's: There are a lot of other people's Confessional's involved in all this, not just Frankie Dettori's. The BHA pretender PAUL BITTAR scrapes along bumping and boring leaving true horsemen near dead in his wake, to say nothing about the horses BHA sacrifice.
Part 2 The Extraordinary Godolphin Story (so far)
Who has caused the shockingly tough times Frankie has been left to suffer? And why?
Who has caused the shockingly tough times Frankie has been left to suffer? And why?
We observe Frankie's highly successful riding career, life and times is thrown on the scrapheap of life for him, by someone else, and behind his back. What is Frankie supposed to feel when he finds out? The going gets tough for Frankie very tough indeed. Unacceptably tough. Who are the people pulling the strings? What are their names, and what is their reasoning? The bloodhorse illiterate British Horseracing government cannot be trusted.
Frankie after decades of loyal ace service gets thrown away by Godolphin for a younger person to step into his shoes, to take all the best rides. How is Frankie supposed to feel when he's thrown on the scrap heap of life like this by someone else?
We have all observed recently the way Sheikh Mohammed has forsaked his trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni so fast, to suit only the bloodhorse illiterate British Horseracing government, who cannot be trusted.

What happens when the going gets tough? Very tough indeed?
What is the reasoning behind such tough times?
Who has caused the shockingly tough times? And why?
How many people are involved, to include the horses?
The full other reasoning?
The full Equus reasoning?
None of this should be going on at all. British horseracing is being distroyed by nasty old bloodhorse illiterate cruel selfish men. The sort of men Charles Dickens portrays in his books.
Part 3 Another nasty twist to this sorry saga. BHA'S selfish hopeless, incompetence, and failed working practices. Racing Post report by Graham Dench "FRANKIE DETTORI''S planned return to the saddle on Monday appeared last night to have been derailed amid a tangle of red-tape, with the world's most famous jockey reported to be "sick" of the confusion. Dettori has been serving a six-month drugs ban -imposed by the French authorities for a positive test taken at Longchamp last September - that expires tomorrow, and his agent Ray Cochrane has lined up a full book of rides for him at Leicester the following day, as well as at Nottingham on Tuesday.
"Cochrane described the situation as "hugely frustrating", adding: "One hand doesn't seem to know what the other hand is doing, so far as I can see.
"Cochrane described the situation as "hugely frustrating", adding: "One hand doesn't seem to know what the other hand is doing, so far as I can see.
"I had
a full book of rides for him at Leicester on Monday and another at Nottingham on Tuesday. I took him off them all, then I
put him back on them, and now I'm taking him off again.
"Frankie
isn't even answering his phone to me now. He's sick of it, and you can't blame
him."
"Yesterday's
setback came hot on the heals of Dettori's interview on Channel 4 News, in
which he traced the breakdown of his relationship with Godolphin to the
appointment of Mahmood Al Zarooni in 2010, a result of an expansion in numbers
which also led to the acquisition of Michael Barzalona and Silvestre De Sousa
as retained riders.
"Asked
for a reaction to Dettori's interview, Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford
said: "Sheikh Mohammed has seen Frankie's interview and would like to wish
him all the best for the future after all of the problems he has had.

AMBIVIDENT'S daily handler rider JIMMY THOMPSON
THIS MORNING we meet up with handler rider professional horseman JIMMY THOMPSON who introduces us to filly, AMBIVIDENT placed in his daily care, who he rides out every day whilst she is in training. Jimmy needs to be as athletically fit as a racehorse, he needs to know how to educate a yearling, two year old. and guide each horse he is down to ride out every day along the right path of learning to become a confident, happy successful racehorse.
A Groom's
tasks, what are they? Is Jimmy Thompson a groom?
A Groom is what it states, someone who groom's horses,
dresses them over with a dandy brush, a body brush, or both, sponges a horses eyes, nose and dock, picks
out his feet, prepares a horse to be ridden out, gives the rider a leg up. Once
that horse returns from exercise a groom takes the horse off the rider, returns
him to his loose box and sets him fair. (attends to all that horses needs,
feeds him, makes sure there is fresh clean water. etc. makes sure the horse's
loose box is clean and fresh with clean
bed he can be comfortable in.
WE MEET up with Flat race rider JAMES DOYLE who is to partner CITYSCAPE in the Lockinge at 3.50pm this afternoon. But can CITYSCAPE beat DECLARATION OF WAR? What do you think? NO, NO, NO can do, the Winner FARHH 5 9-0 partner SILVESTRE DE SOUSA trainer Saeed Bin Suroor Godolphin. Cool Motion plotting Kingdom royal
mission
"THE fact Welsh warbler and
sometime racehorse owner Bonnie Tyler
will be belting it out for Britain
in the Eurovision Song contest in Sweeden this weekend won't be lost on Royal Ascot recruitment
officer Nick Smith.
"After a golden period
highlighted by global superstars like Frankel and Black Caviar the royal
meeting is holding out for a hero this year , but help is at hand courtesy of a
powerful chestnut who has arrived in Britain flying more flags than the United
Nations."
Animal Kingdom camp confirm Queen Anne aim
ANIMAL KINGDOM'S bid to add a Royal Ascot success to his haul of big-race wins will come in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes this summer after connections opted for the prestigious mile contest over the two-furlong longer Prince of Wales's Stakes.
Trained by Graham Motion for Arrowfield Stud, Sheikh Mohammed and Team Valor, Animal Kingdom stormed to an impressive success in the Dubai World Cup in March and is gearing up for the royal meeting at David Lanigan's yard in Lambourn.
