CH4 7pm News this evening takes a closer look at the life and times of Frankie Dettori.
British horseracing does not deserve to have either Frankie Dettori of Kieren Fallon race riding in this country. After decades of  true top professional race riding around the world  in which both have loyally kept going, decade in, decade out, putting up with a British sport being run by the bloodhorse illiterate to suit only the bloodhorse illiterate. A British sport that holds no true respect for either a horses true life or a riders true life. Rip off Britain style Frankie and Kieren have been used, abused, accused unjustly, mocked and ridiculed by the bloodhorse illiterate for far, far too long. Jon Snow asks the key question.

TEAM O'BRIEN CHALLENGE TO WIN DANTE WITH INDIAN CHIEF
TO MAKE IT 5 CLASSIC PREP WINS OVER THE LAST FORTNIGHT?

ANDREW DIETZ  BRINGS US RACING POST "TODAY'S  BIG TALKING POINT"

"With Britain's main Derby hope struggling to make the line up, can a realistic home contender emerge to challenge Ireland's domination of the betting market?

JMC, "Can Britain gatecrash it's own party? YES, YES, YES! CH4 LIVE hot, hot, hot, an exciting race to watch, due off at 2.45 the British Dante Derby trial, can Aidan O'Brien's INDIAN CHIEF with JOSEPH O'BRIEN aboard score fifth winner in last fortnight, and head back home this evening to Ireland's green green grass of home for Magnier and Co?  NO, NO, NO can do 3rd. We don't have long to wait and see...... What will Tanya have to tell us about the betting? What magic can Kieren Fallon generate when he picks GREATWOOD up and asks him to respond to take this race by the scruff of the neck? As only Kieren knows how ....... We have a treat in store make no mistake about that. There can only be one winner, but there will be 7 brave loosers. GREATWOOD  gave a dissapointing run, never in contention.
