ELUSIVE KATE-WILLIAM BUICK and SKY LANTERN-RICHARD HUGHES

Trainer Richard Hannon of SKY LANTERN is considering an appeal into the outcome of the Falmouth. They have got until Monday to do so.
Frankie Dettori Superstar Guest on the Morning Line spoke up about yesterday's performance and the outcome saying: "BHA Stewards decide upon the horse who would have won regardless of the interference. "
JMC: The only other thing they bother about is whether the successful jockey had been guilty of careless riding. After that they shut up shop ignoring everything else. End of story.
Interferance? What interference?
JAMIE STIER, BHA director of raceday operations and regulation, says "Racing is about the best horse winning."

PRESENTED BY NICK LUCK

GUEST SUPERSTAR FRANKIE DETTORI, who partners HAVELOCK 6 9-5 for USA trainer Darrin Miller for owners Tommy and Bonny Hamilton, in today's feature race at Newmarket the 3.50 Darley July Cup a sprint over 6f. Can Frankie win this? What do you think? Will there be a blanket finish? A great line up of fabulous sprinters ... .promises to be an exciting race whoever wins.

About HAVELOCK the career life and times of HAVELOCK:  Has won Graded stakes from 5f up to 1m in North America on firm ground/Pollytrack, latest in a blanket finish at Keenland in April when getting up late under usual come-from-behind ride; excuses since, including in the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, but still hard to rate his form highly enough in this context.

Tanya introduced us to Paddy Power himself this morning. We find out the true colour of  Paddy's horse. Not green!  But a beautiful bay colour SOLE POWER 6 9-5  is his true name and he is challenging for the 3.50  Darley July Cup Sprint this afternoon, trained by Edward Lordan (IRE)  to be partnered by JOHNNY MURTAGH.

About SOLE POWER to date: 5f off a strong pace on sound surface are his optimum conditions and one of the best sprinters in last three seasons when getting them; reversed Dubai form with SHEA SHEA when coming late to pip that rival in the King's Stand at Royal Ascot (pair races wide apart) under JOHNNY MURTAGH ride, but came up well short in top company when last raced over 6f in 2011 and trip an obviously concern.
