Toast Of New York resting after travelling home from USA’S Breeders Cup 2014
meeting where he and partner Jamie Spencer finished just a whisker away from winning the Breeders Cup Classic at Santa Anita last weekend. Jamie tells us what an extraordinary temperament and presence Toast Of New York has, and how he knows and doesn't mind, the travelling drill. Jamie says how honoured he and his team at home feel to have him, and that they will let the way ahead evolve to see where to go next. Ron Thomas Jamie's top right hand man highly skilled at preparing racehorses to travel around the world.

Wolverhampton races: Three jockeys hurt in accident

horse has died and three jockeys have been injured in a race under the
floodlights at Wolverhampton.
Richard Kingscote is undergoing treatment in hospital for arm
and rib injuries after Thursday's accident.
Former champion jockey Paul Hanagan has a suspected broken
collarbone and Freddy Tylicki a possible broken nose.
The David Nicholls-trained Fitz Flyer, whose fall as it rounded
the home turn in the claiming stakes caused the incident, suffered a fatal
injury.
Wolverhampton's clerk of the course, Fergus Cameron, said that
jockey Kingscote was the most seriously hurt.

Richard Kingscote and Paul Hanagan both face spells on the sidelines
after an ugly five-horse pile-up at Wolverhampton on Thursday that claimed the
life of veteran sprinter Fitz Flye
