KINGMAN with JAMES DOYLE in the saddle for the first time for owner
    K. Abdullah won the Solario Stakes at Sandown Park yesterday with confident ease at 2-7f, on this his second outing as a two-year-old.   KINGMAN settled well, has a powerful length of stride when asked. As Mick Fitzgerald pointed out KINGMAN has a big frame with plenty more growing up still to do. An impressive exciting performance

Findlay shares Scoop6 bonus Saturday August 31st

"HARRY FINDLAY'S love affair with the Scoop6 continued yesterday when he shared the £330,498 bonus after Vasily won at Sandown, writes Graham Green.

"Findley and Bernard Marantelli, the driving force behind the Colossus football bet, joined forces with several of last weekend's other winners to account for 13 of the 22 tickets.

"If it wasn't for the other guys coming in we wouldn't have won it, " said Findlay. "We have all picked up just over £25,000. "

"Yesterday's win fund of £44,449 rolls over to next weekend after the final tickets went down in the fourth leg. "

"Beacon Lady one of racing's small heroines. "

Pic: William Knight: claimed Beacon Lady for only £3,000

"THERE are big hero's, like Frankel, and small ones like Beacon Lady. I love the

Beacon Lady's of racing, the small heroes and heroines that fill in the gaps

    between the big ones's.

"They may not win anything grand, they may not even be especially good judged by the cold, unsentimental eye of ratings, but there is something about them. They work their way into our affections, draw us in and make us want them to win. Beacon Lady is like that.

"A humble beginning helps. Bred by Ashley House Stud in Devon, Beacon Lady was entered to be sold at Tattersalls October 2010 yearlings sale but was withdrawn and found herself with Dorset trainer Bill Turner, racing in the colours of his wife, Tracy.

"Beacon Lady started by finishing fourth of five, beaten over 15 lengths, in a maiden at Southwell in June 2011. It was a Class 5 race, which was above her station in life. Beacon Lady's next 13 appearances were all in Class 6 events.

"On her second run two months later Beacon Lady came fourth in a seller, then rounded off her juvenile career by finishing last of 11 in a claimer at Kempton the following month. Inspirationally, acting on behalf  of The Pro-Claimers, trainer William Knight claimed Beacon Lady for £3,000.

"Armed with a handicap rating of 50, Beacon Lady made her first entry in her three- year -old curriculum vitae by being beaten 23 lengths in a handicap at Lingfield in June last year. Dropped to 48, she then finished last of 11, beaten 34 lengths, at 50-1. Then Beacon Lady went to Brighton last September.

"It was the making of her, Down to a lowly 46, hooded for the first time and racing over a mile, Beacon Lady put up an amazing performance, blazing from last to first down the wide outside to win at an ungenerous 16-1 (28-1 on the Tote). No wonder Nicole Nordblad came off after winning post; shock, I expect.

"Beaten at Lingfield, Beacon Lady returned to Brighton last October, this time over one and a half miles on heavy ground. She finished a creditable second of 14, and retired for the season.

"She has been much busier this year. On her third run Beacon Lady finished second at Brighton. On her fourth run, again at Brighton, rated 51, Beacon Lady cruised from last to first and won easily.

"Early in July Beacon Lady finished second again at Brighton, and the Pro-Claimers, who include Andrew Black, Betfair's co-founder may have been thinking of selling her. Beacon Lady was entered for Tattersalls July sales but withdrawn.

"Elivated to a rating of 60, the daughter of Haafhd finished second again, inevitably  at Brighton, where she was becoming a familiar visitor,  giddy heights of a Class 4, 0-80 handicap, Beacon Lady won at Brighton again.

"THERE were only three runners, but there were 14 when she returned on August 8 for the prestigious (for Brighton) Brighton Challenge Cup, worth £12,450 to the winner. Now rated 64 in a competitive 0-80 handicap, Beacon Lady started at 9-1. Under Darren Egan, she did it again, in her trademark style.

"Hooded, looking slightly quirky, her head held high, Beacon Lady came from last to first with a scything run up the wide outside and won easily. Black resplendent in summer shorts, was there to greet her.

"That was the day Beacon Lady etched her name on the long list of beloved Brighton specialists, among them Operatic Society, who won seven races there in the early 1960's, Shikari's Son, who won nine in the early 1990's, and Mandhooma, who won seven races between 2009 and 2011, every one at Brighton.

"The day after winning  Brighton Challenge Cup Beacon Lady cantered down to the start again, back in a Class 6 contest. She carried 10st 6lb, less apprentice Oisin Murphy's 7lb allowance, and triumphed in exactly the same way, coming from last to first on the outside. That took her tally of wins to five, all at Brighton.

"Derby trials were once held there and finally, on Monday, a trialist won an Epsom Derby. Beacon Lady, her rating up to 79, came from last to first on the wide outside, this time under Patrick Mullins, to win the Amateur Derby. Well, Epsom is a bit like Brighton.

"Beacon Lady is one of those wonderful small heroines of horseracing who play such a big part in the joy of the sport. If she never wins another race she will have left her memories, and her time in the sun may not be over yet. Tomorrow, Beacon Lady will run at Brighton again, up in class, down in distance, a 6lb penalty taking her to a rating of 85.

"It's a tough task. Wouldn''t it be wonderful if she could do it?"

"Beacon Lady. Wears a hood; from strength to strength at this track, winning five times on variety of ground and last two wins in under 24 hours last month (second occasion under Oisin Murphy); carried on the good work at Epsom in the Amateur Derby on Monday, first two 14 lengths clear;  well in under 6lb penalty and very rash to rule out further progress. Barry Hills trained  Beacon Lady's sire Haafhd successfully, Haafhd a character to put it mildly, Haafhd didn't suffer bloodhorse illiterate fools gladly. Haafhd if put on to sort out the  bloodhorse illiteracy problems within Britain's Political Government, British Law, and the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) Paul Bittar, Regulators, Haafhd would make a swift and accurate job of it. Martin Dwyer would not be facing a  bloodhorse illiterate trial charge in India, as neither would the BHA be reciprocating such a bloodhorse illiterate trial charge against Dwyer in India. ICE AGE would have run on Lasix medication in India on February 17th and would have won for Dwyer that day. Wondering what has happened to ICE AGE since? Is anyone allowed to know? ICE AGE is the key thread in MARTIN DWYER'S not guilty defence, but we know nothing about her. Has she lost her life? All global punters have an absolute right to know this truth. So where is this truth Paul Bittar? Over to you CH4 Nick please. (Luck)

    TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 3rd 2013

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF BEACON LADY SO FAR
ch f  Sire Haafhd - Dam Oriental Lady

In the spring of 2009 Beacon Lady was born at Ashley House Stud in Devon
    http://ashleyhousestud.co.uk/

In October 2010 Beacon Lady was entered to be sold at Tattersalls yearling sales, but was withdrawn. Instead Beacon Lady found herself with Dorset trainer Bill Turner to be prepared for her two year old debut on the Flat running in the colours of Turner's wife Tracy.

Beacon Lady now a two year old, had her debut run in a maiden at Southwell in June 2011, with her second run two months later finishing fourth in a seller. Then rounded off her two year old season finishing last of 11 in a claimer at Kempton Park where she was claimed by  trainer William Knight for £3,000 on behalf  of owners, The Pro-Claimers.

As a three year old in June 2012 armed with a rating of 50 Beacon Lady ran in a handicap at Lingfield Park were she was beaten 23 lengths. Next with a rating of 48, she finished last of 11, beaten 34 lengths, at 50-1.

In September 2012 BEACON LADY was entered to run at Brighton, over a mile,  her rating down to a lowly 46, hooded for the first time and with NICOLE NORDBLAD in the saddle.
It was during this Brighton race when galloping for the first time down the hill on the Brighton racetrack, that BEACON LADY first learned that she could gallop faster going down that hill. Like a kid on a bike, free wheeling down a hill for the first time, a different experience. BEACON LADY  hadn't learned much until this day. She learned something for herself that day, that it was much quicker to gallop down hill. If that is what she was being asked  and expected to do. The hood will have helped Beacon Lady to concentrate on the job in hand.

Having settled in with Team Knight to help her, BEACON LADY has been able to gain her confidence, BEACON LADY going from strength to strength having a much busier year this year David tells us.  Now a four year old (2013).

David tells us that BEACON LADY won at Brighton on July 25th The Brighton Challenge Cup with a prize of £12,450, and again 14 days later another win on August 8th at Brighton, coming out the very next day  again at Brighton on August 9th and winning again. What an achievement, a great compliment to Team Knight.   Then on Bank Holiday Monday August 26th, 17 days later to Epsom this time to win the Amateur Derby with Patrick Mullins in the saddle. The owners, The Pro-Claimers must be over the moon. On Sunday at Brighton BEACON LADY up in class, down in distance, a 6lb penalty taking her to a rating of 85, with apprentice OISIN MURPHY'S 7lb allowance helping a little bit, to finish 4th. Maybe now BEACON LADY has earned a break to refresh, after her brilliant winning streak.

People do not appear to realise that yearlings and two year olds are only just babies with masses to learn. Whether they learn anything or not all depends on the handler rider who cares for their rights and needs every day, that persons skills absolutely vital throughout the yearling two -year-old days in training.

There is a great deal of difference between a skilled handler rider and a passanger both in the saddle and out of it. The BHA treat those who have served the sport of horseracing all their lives, working at the top of their profession, like convicts, when instead they should be thanking them for their huge and wonderful imput to this sport.

In the news at present we hear about the money payed for football players.  The BHA have got away with meanness beyond all belief in the way they treat horsemen. Evil corruption hiding their dirty deeds behind a welfare charity  that exists to ensure extreme poverty, that has netted these governments billions of pounds each year off other peoples backs, to include the horses. Blood money, Rip off Britain  Blood money.

    WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 4th 2013

     BEACON LADY
    Born on February 22nd 2009
Taking a further even closer look at the life and times of this filly
Career Perspective in Bloodhorse Literate Theory.

2011:  BEACON LADY'S TWO YEAR OLD CAREER EXPERIENCE

June 2nd Race One:  Beacon Lady partner William Carson trainer W G M Turner Flat debut race Southwell (AW) over 6f. TEAM TURNER.

August 22nd Race Two: Beacon Lady partner Jake Payne trainer W G M Turner Windsor (Turf) over 8f (1m) TEAM TURNER.

September 29th Race Three: Beacon Lady partner K T O'Neill trainer
     W G M Turner Kempton Park (AW)  over 8f (1m) TEAM TURNER.

What do we observe here in  Equus Theory?  Turner used a different jockey for Beacon Lady in all three of her two-year-old races. Not a good idea for a two-year-old just starting out in public with so much to learn. Looks like Turner ran her twice on All Weather and once on Turf. Turner ran her over 6 furlongs once, and a mile twice. (8f)

2012: BEACON LADY'S THREE YEAR OLD CAREER EXPERIENCE
June 7th Race Four: Beacon Lady partner David Kenny trainer W J Knight Lingfield Park over 12f  (1m4f) TEAM KNIGHT

October 9th  Race Eight: 2nd: Beacon Lady partner Racheal Knellier trainer

What do we observe here in Equus Theory?

Throughout Beacon Lady's three-year-old career she ran 5 times. She won once over 7f at Brighton with Nichole Nordblad in the saddle. Knight used 5 different riders , and tried Beacon Lady over 4 different trips.

2013  BEACON LADY'S FOUR YEAR OLD CAREER EXPERIENCE
May 2nd Race Nine: Beacon Lady partner Nichole Nordblad trainer W J Knight Chepstow Turf over 12f Gd  TEAM KNIGHT

September 1st  Race Nineteen: Fourth Beacon Lady partner Oisin Murphy  trainer W J Knight Brighton Turf over 9f  Gd/Fm  TEAM KNIGHT

What do we observe here in Equus Theory?
Throughout Beacon Lady's four-year-old career she ran eleven times.

She won six races, three over 11f.  at Brighton.  And once at Epsom over 12f.  Knight used 5 different riders: Nicola Nordblad (5), Racheal Kneller (1), DE Egan (2), Oisin Murphy (2), Mr P W Mullins (1). Knight ran Beacon Lady over 4 different trips.
Pioneering rider Nichola Nordblad possibly taught Beacon Lady the most over the period from September 2012 throughout to July 2013.

If Nicola Nordblad was a top football player what would her input be worth? And what would her monthly salary be?

    THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 5th 2013
Graham Green in the Racing Post today tell us "Talented apprentice Nicola Nordblad, who has not been seen in racecourse action for more than a month, yesterday admitted she is close to calling time on her riding career. Speaking on her way to saddle Beauchamp Xerxes last night for her boss, Oxfordshire-based Hans Adielsson, the 18-year-old said: "I'm struggling with my weight and I'm not sure if 'm going to keep riding."

The true unrecognised British Equus Zone needs lifting right out of the BHA'S hands completely. And the sooner the better. Nicola Nordblad, and all the young ones like her are needed so badly in the saddle to tutor all yearlings and two year olds. Nichola worth her weight in gold and more far more to Global Horseracing for her expertize in the saddle in this zone.

British horseracing in 2013 a shadow, an historic relic of what it should be.
